74.3% of respondents in INQUIRER.net poll predicted Pacquiao win by KO

MANILA, Philippines—Majority of those who responded to an online poll of INQUIRER.net predicted that world boxing champion Manny Pacquiao would win by a knockout over Mexican fighter Jun Manuel Marquez.

In the poll question: “Who do you think will win in the Pacquiao – Marquez fight?” 1, 720 respondents, or 74.3 percent, believed that Pacquiao would beat Marquez by KO  while  only  6 percent (139 respondents) voted  for  Marquez winning by KO.

Of the 2,315 respondents, 326, or 14.08 percent predicted that Pacquiao would win by a decision while 81, or 3.5 percent went for Marquez.

Only 49, or 2.12 percent, of the respondents predicted that the fight be a draw.—Maila Ager
