Seaba U-16: Malaysia stays perfect, routs Singapore
Malaysia kept its record flawless with a 77-56 victory over Singapore Tuesday in the 2017 Seaba Under-16 Championship at Smart Araneta Coliseum.
John Tang once again showed the way for the Malaysians with 19 points and five rebounds, while Teoh Yi Kang stuffed the stat sheets with his 15 markers, seven boards, and six assists.
Article continues after this advertisementTan Chee Way also added 10 markers and three boards as Malaysia cruised to its largest win in the tournament so far.
The Malaysians started off strong and opened the game on a 23-5 tear en route to a their third straight win.
Malaysia takes a one-day break before facing Batang Gilas Pilipinas on Thursday in a potential championship decider.

In the first game, Thailand bounced back from its debut loss and clipped Indonesia, 79-69.
Arnagorn Homthuanlom topscored the Thais with 21 points, three rebounds, and two assists, while Tanawat Preechahan chipped in 14 markers and four boards.
But it was Hiran Boateng, who anchored Thailand, pouring in 10 points, 13 boards, five assists, a steal, and a block.
After trailing by four early in the game, the Thais staged a 23-9 run to grab a 23-13 lead and never looked back.
Felix Alexander captained Indonesia with 21 points, six assists, and three rebounds, while Kristian Linduaji got 15 markers and four boards.
