/ 03:08 AM May 19, 2017

Winning streaks will be put to a test in the Filoil Flying V Premier Cup on Friday as Adamson University battles National U in a showdown of unbeaten squads.

La Salle, the UAAP powerhouse which has won its first two games, takes on Lyceum in another battle of streaking teams.

The Falcons have been solid so far in the preseason tournament and will stake their 4-0 card against the Bulldgos, who are unbeaten in three games so far.

Franz Pumaren’s young Falcons, spiked by talented newcomers, face a stern test when they go up against the Bulldogs’ veteran crew led by JJ Alejandro and Matt Salem at 3:15 p.m. at Filoil Flying V Centre.

The Archers and the Pirates tangle at 5 p.m. with the latter hoping to figure out how to stop La Salle big man Ben Mbala.

Lyceum is hoping Harry Nzeusseu can match up well against Mbala for the Pirates to have a shot at winning a fourth straight match.
