Due to the presence of leg kicks, accidental groin shots in mixed martial arts aren’t a rare occurrence.
However, rarely do we see a fighter hospitalized, let alone brought to tears after getting hit in the nether regions.
Such incident took place during a heavyweight clash at Road FC 39 in South Korea, when a fight abruptly came to an end just seven seconds into the opening bell.
Korean fighters Aorigele and Myung Hyun-Man squared off in the center of the ring until the former was on the receiving end of an accidental kick to his private parts.
The direct hit caused a sickening thud that reverberated throughout the arena, while Aorigele immediately collapsed and withered in excruciating pain.
The referee and his cornermen rushed to his aid, while doctors covered the fighter with a sheet to check on the extent of the damage.
The hulking fighter couldn’t hide his discomfort and was brought to tears after his crotch made contact with his opponent’s shin.
Unable to continue, the fight was ruled a no-contest and Aorigele was rushed to the hospital. There remained no update on Aorigele’s condition, as of this writing. Khristian Ibarrola /ra
