Superbikes series

Defending champion Marvin Mangulabnan of BMW Motorad Racing rounds the final bend to rule the Final race in the recent third leg of the 2017 Pirelli Superbikes Series at Batangas Racing Circuit. He bested TJ Alberto by 1.033 seconds, with Troy Alberto third, Raniel Resuello fourth and Dashi Watanabe fifth in the 10-lap race. Troy settled for the Intermediate title. The other winners were JC Villanueva (Novice), 10-time Superbikes champion Jolet Jao (Masters), Toti Alberto (Ducati Cup), Richard Sahagun (Intermediate) and Sy Peng (Novice). —STEVE SILVA, MOTORSPORTS CONTRIBUTOR
