Air Force levels Adamson ahead of PVL Final Four
Philippine Air Force shot down Adamson University in just three sets, 25-22, 25-16, 25-21, in its final preliminary game in the Premier Volleyball League Open Conference Saturday at Filoil Flying V Centre.
The Lady Jet Spikers will glide to the Final Four with a 5-2 record and will wait for the result of the game between league-leaders Creamline and Pocari Sweat to see what seed they’ll end up in.

Air Force head coach Jasper Jimenez said their three-set win over the Lady Falcons was of utmost importance as they enter the semifinals of the Open Conference, an achievement of some sort considering they finished 2-8 in the Reinforced Conference.
“This is very important for us and we use our previous standing as an inspiration because we were dead last the previous conference,” said Jimenez in Filipino. “So we really pushed ourselves to enter the Final Four.”

Iari Yongco led the Lady Jet Spikers with 14 points while receiving ample support from Joy Cases and Tapic who both finished with 10 points.
Jema Galanza carried the Lady Falcons as she finished with 14 points while the next best offensive output was from Christine Soyud and Rizza Cruz who had six points apiece.
