The blockbuster Kyrie Irving for Isaiah Thomas swap is most likely set in stone by now, but the Cleveland Cavaliers are reportedly “weighing their options” after the latter’s standard post-trade physical.

According to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, the reigning NBA Eastern Conference Champions are wary of their newly acquired 5-foot-9 point guard  due to “uncertainty over the fitness of his injured hip.”

“It’s a very sensitive situation,” a source reportedly told the veteran sports journalist, as relayed by Bleacher Report.

Although all signs point to the trade not being rescinded, Cleveland reportedly could push for an extra draft pick from the Boston Celtics.

The original deal included the package of  Thomas, Jae Crowder, Ante Zizic and the Nets’ unprotected 2018 first-round pick to Cleveland for Irving.

Meanwhile, Andre Igoudala, forward for the Cavs’ rivals Golden State Warriors, sent out a cryptic tweet, which most believe pertains to the ongoing trade situation.

“Return to sender???” he wrote, which has since been retweeted over 3,000 times.

Meanwhile, despite having a tremendous regular season and a stellar start earlier in the playoffs, Thomas was sidelined for much of the Eastern Conference Finals showdown against the Cavs due to a right femoral-acetabular impingement with labral tear. Prior to being traded, the two-time NBA All-Star was expected to miss the Celtics’ training camp.  Khristian Ibarrola /ra
