Filipinos bag another silver in sepak takraw
The Philippines bowed to host Malaysia in the final of men’s regu event of sepak takraw in the 2017 Southeast Asian Games Tuesday night at Stadium Titiwangsa in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
The Filipinos dropped a 23-25, 13-21, decision to the Malaysians to salvage the silver near the close of the competitions.
Laos and Brunei wound up with bronze medals.
It was the second silver medal for the Philippines in the sport after the team’s second place finish last August 16 in the chinlone (linking) event.
