Adamson center Papi Sarr admitted he is still not his normal self after making his debut in the UAAP Season 80 men’s basketball tournament Saturday.

The 6-foot-8 big man missed the Falcons’ opening game loss to the Ateneo Blue Eagles due to a groin injury.

“I just feel like I’m not 100 percent but I’m on my way there,” said Sarr Saturday at Smart Araneta Coliseum after helping Adamson beat University of Santo Tomas, 88-81.

“I’m trying to get back and just help the team. I think I’m just at 50 percent and I was trying to push myself just to help my team.”

Sarr finished with 10 points, four rebounds, and three assists in just 11 minutes of play.

The Cameroonian said he felt sluggish during the game and he wasn’t as mobile as he wanted to be.

“I was literally heavy, I was tired. My body was so tired and so heavy that I’m hoping by next game I’ll be back to normal,” said Sarr.
