UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor remains as the poster boy of mixed martial arts as he is once again the face of the EA Sports UFC 3 video game.
The sports arm of video game developer Electronic Arts confirmed the designation through a teaser of the upcoming game—which looks as realistic as it has ever been.
“EA SPORTS UFC 3 introduces a new generation of fighting for fight fans powered by Real Player Motion (RPM) Tech, a revolutionary new gameplay animation technology that delivers the most fluid and responsive motion in EA SPORTS UFC history,” the company said in a press release, as relayed by MMA Fighting.
The game will also feature a new career mode called the “G.O.A.T.,” which allows players to promote upcoming fights, create heated rivalries and pave their way to become the “Greatest of All Time.”
“Two belts, two covers—EA SPORTS got it right again,” McGregor said in the release, referring to himself, who claimed both the UFC Lightweight and Featherweight titles last year.
“It’s an honor to be on the cover and I can’t wait to play the game.”
The game will be available on both Xbox One and Playstation 4 platforms in February 2018. /ra
