Carlos, Molde relish scoring roles for Lady Maroons
If it takes two to tango, then Isa Molde and Diana Carlos have made Diliman their personal dance hall.
Molde and Carlos are the two main offensive attackers for University of the Philippines and the duo once more danced to their own tune, and this time, in a win over University of Santo Tomas.

“We have to accept the roles that coach gave us,” said Carlos in Filipino Wednesday at Filoil Flying V Centre. “Ayel [Estrañero] will take care of defense and setting so who’ll be left to attack?”
“We have to take responsibility in attacking because that was the role that was given to us,” added Carlos.

“Coach prioritizes the middle and he wants them to focus on blocking, so if the reception was great the ball will go straight to the wings,” said Molde.
UP’s win over UST snapped its four-game skid as the Lady Maroons improved to 2-4, the same record as the Golden Tigresses.
And that win was a huge confidence-booster for the Lady Maroons.
“This win was important because it really helped with our confidence, so we hope for our next game we can carry this momentum and we can be aggressive,” said Molde.
“Losing takes a toll us, so this win was really important,” said Carlos. “We have to fight on.”
