“All the teams have been maximizing their time and actually it’s been hard to schedule tune-up games this time because we’ve all been pretty busy.”
Petro Gazz is composed of players from De La Salle and College of St. Benilde and all have either played with or against each other the prior years.

“They’ve known each other before becoming teammates and so far in practice their transitions in offense and defense have been smooth, so we just have to polish this,” said Yee.
The seasoned coach is confident of the team’s composition and is satisfied with the work they have put in despite the players being tied up to school or their day jobs.
And although the team is new, the players have known each other for a few years already and Yee said that familiarity has been beneficial for the team’s chemistry buildup.
“As for the situation with our team, we will work with all the pieces that we have,” said Yee. “So far every night we haven’t missed a beat.”
