For the better part of the season, defending champion De La Salle has been utterly unstoppable.

But despite racking up seven straight wins with one more game left in their schedule, the Lady Spikers believe they haven’t reached their peak form in the UAAP Season 80 women’s volleyball tournament.

Kianna Dy said their strong performance late into the season is just about staying true to their real form.

“I don’t think we’re peaking, or we’ve reached our peak, it’s just that every game we just have to play our game,” said Dy in Filipino Wednesday at Filoil Flying V Centre.

The Lady Spikers reached seventh heaven when they dished out a four-set beating against Adamson University, 25-21, 25-15, 22-25, 25-18, that bumped their record to 11-2 and locked up the no. 1 seed in the tournament.

La Salle not only secured its position atop the table, it also knocked out the Lady Falcons off the Final Four race and allowed National University to take the last Final Four berth.

And with one game left on their schedule, Dy said they won’t take things lightly against Ateneo on Sunday as they plan to enter the Final Four on their best possible form.

“Every game we have to work on the areas we still need to improve upon and we have to treat every game equally,” said Dy who finished with 17 points against the Lady Falcons. “We don’t think that our next match won’t have any implications, we will still play our game.”
