MANILA—Yes Pogi, last year’s most dominant charger, guns for a second major win this season as the outstanding pick under Manolito Daquis in the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office Silver Cup at Santa Ana Park in Naic, Cavite.

The hard-finishing charger will find the long, 2,000-meter race to his liking even as five other crack bidders, led by former Triple Crown hope Go Army, who will be guided by Ferdinand Raquel, tries to spoil a Yes Pogi party Sunday.

Shining Armour, Thotis Best, Darleb and Righthererightnow complete the roster in the race that offers a handsome P1.1 million to the winner.

Though Yes Pogi will be coming off an upset loss to imported charger Juggling Act last month, the stayer will face basically the same field he conquered by at least 10 lengths in the Philracom Chairman’s Cup last March.
