MANILA—Defending champion Muntinlupa seeks to hang on to a thin thread of hope when it takes on Las Piñas at 4 p.m. tomorrow at the Muntinlupa Sports Complex in the 2nd Coca-Cola Hoopla National Capital Region Championship.
Taguig battles Pasay at 6 p.m. at Ligid-Tipas in Taguig.
All four teams need a win to boost their chances of making the coming Inter-Zonal phase.
Up for grabs is the title of 2011 NCR champion and the P250,000 top prize.
Pasay leads South with a 4-1 slate, followed by Taguig with 3-1, Muntinlupa 3-2, Las Piñas 2-3, and Parañaque 0-5.
In an Inter-City game Wednesday, Mandaluyong routed Manila, 104-70, to atone for its first loss in five games to San Juan.
