The Philippine National Shooting Association came up with a strong show of unity Tuesday night as majority of the directors of the previous board ratified the Feb. 16 General Assembly that installed former Ilocos Sur Gov. Luis “Chavit” Singson as president of the association.
More than 100 members of different aggrupations—pistol, rifle, moving target (trap and skeet)—ratified the polls.
The group is working for recognition from the Philippine Olympic Committee so it can start their SEA Games preparations.
