Pocari-Air Force got into the winners’ circle after stealing one from BanKo, 15-25, 25-15, 25-18, 25-22, in the Premier Volleyball League Reinforced Conference Sunday at People’s Gym in Tuguegarao City.

The Lady Warriors relied on a three-pronged attack that Madeline Palmer spearheaded with 16 points while Myla Pablo and Amelie Love had 15 points apiece.

Pocari improved to 1-1, to have the same record as the Perlas Spikers and Tacloban, Creamline and Iriga-Navy.

The Cool Smashers, though, hope to bounce back against PayMaya in the second game.

Jutarat Montripila and Lakia Bright had 18 points apiece to lead the Perlas Spikers while Amy Ahomiro pitched in 10.

Pocari-Air Force and BanKo were in a virtual stalemate in terms of spikes, a 45-44 for the former, but the Lady Warriors outclassed the Perlas Spikers in blocks, 11-5, and in aces, 11-6.
