Split keeps Jr Blu Girls in title hunt

Bouncing back from a sorry loss just hours before, host Philippines on Tuesday mangled India, 16-0, to stay in title contention in the Asian Junior Women’s Softball Championship at Clark International Sports Complex in Pampanga. Junior RP Blu Girls starter Kianna Juan twirled a no-hitter in two innings and Alma Tauli gave up a hit in the fourth. The lopsided victory made up for a 2-3 defeat to defending champion Chinese Taipei earlier for 3-2 overall.
