The 22-year-old Duno has now won his last eight fights, including a second-round knockout over erstwhile unbeaten Christian Gonzalez in March of last year.
Duno took control early before asserting himself even more in the latter rounds, where a worn-down Gonzalez had no answer.
Duno improved its record to 17-1, 14 knockouts while Gonzalez, who has won 22 of his 26 fights by stoppage, absorbed his fifth loss.
