National University pulled out of the Premier Volleyball League Collegiate Conference women’s volleyball tournament even before making its debut.
The Lady Bulldogs announced on Saturday on their Facebook page that they will not play anymore this conference.
Organizing Sports Vision president Ricky Palou said he received a phone call from NU coach Babes Castillo early morning informing him of the school’s decision to skip the tournament at the last minute.
They were supposed to begin their title-retention bid against San Beda at 4 pm on Saturday.
Seven schools remain to dispute the title in the PVL’s mid-season conference.
