PVL: Bulldogs down Altas in battle of collegiate champs
UAAP champion National University zoomed past NCAA champion University of Perpetual Help, 25-18, 27-25, 23-25, 25-16 in the Premier Volleyball League Collegiate Conference on Sunday at the Filoil Flying V Centre in San Juan.
The Bulldogs joined Adamson and University of the Philippines in the upper half of the standings with a 1-0 slate while the Altas absorbed their first loss.

Bryan Bagunas finished the job for the Bulldogs after sealing a three-point spurt with a drop, 25-16.
NU topped Perpetual in service aces, 6-1. The Bulldogs also dominated the blocking department, 16-13.

Ronniel Rosales led the Altas with 14 points.
