The top-seeded Junior Blazers inched closer to retaining the championship after dominating Jose Rizal University, 97-71, while the Red Robins topped San Beda, 75-67, in the second game.
The best-of-three title duel begins on November 6 at Mall of Asia Arena.

Joel Cagulangan, who erupted for a career-high 39 points in a loss to the Light Bombers last game, added 19 points.

Hernandez came away with 27 points and 10 rebounds while Policarpio collected 25 points and 13 rebounds for second-seed Mapua.
