BACOOR CITY—F2 Logistics banked on its collective effort to overcome a hard-fighting Cignal squad, 25-22, 23-25, 25-14, 25-17, and stretch its winning streak in the Chooks to Go-Philippine Superliga All-Filipino Conference Thursday at Bacoor Strike Gym here.

Ara Galang and Majoy Baron led the attack of the Cargo Movers, who extended their winning streak to five.

Meanwhile, Smart made short work of Foton, 25-21, 25-19, 25-18, to notch its first back-to-back wins in this conference.

Despite missing setter Jasmine Nabor and middle blockers Celine Domingo and Czarina Carandang due to their respective academic commitments, the troika of Aiko Urdas, Grethcel Soltones and Jerrili Malabanan powered the Giga Hitters to their second win in the second round to improve to 4-5.

Urdas unleashed 18 points off 16 kills and a pair of service aces.

Soltones, who struggled with five points in their past game against Sta. Lucia, had 13 hits and as many as excellent receptions while Malabanan added 12 markers and had 10 digs.

Galang dropped 18 points built on 16 spikes and a pair of aces laced with 10 excellent receptions while Baron unloaded eight kills, five blocks and three aces for 16 points as F2 Logistics improved to 7-2 win-loss record to claim the solo second spot.
