From now on, South Korea and the Philippines will develop joint programs in sports research and coaching.
The partnership was forged when Philippine Sports Commission Chair Butch Ramirez and Korea Institute of Sports Science (Kiss) president Young Lin-chung signed a memorandum of understanding during the conclusion of the Sports Science Lecture Series at Philsports on Saturday.
“We are not a rich country, so we appreciate what you are sharing with us,” Ramirez told Chung after the three-day seminar that educated Filipino coaches with the science of properly training their athletes.
