Adrien Broner arrested, released ahead of Manny Pacquiao fight

Adrien Broner was arrested in Broward County, Florida days before Christmas and was then released, as per TMZ Sports.

Broner had an outstanding warrant after failing to appear in court earlier this month and face a driving-related case in which he was arrested for speeding, not having a driver’s license and no registration.

The 29-year-old Broner is scheduled to challenge Manny Pacquiao, the reigning WBA welterweight champion, next month in Las Vegas.

Pacquiao is already in Los Angeles to continue his training camp. He is coming off a seventh-round stoppage of Lucas Matthysse in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia five months ago.
