Manny Pacquiao wants knockout vs Adrien Broner
Manny Pacquiao doesn’t want to leave anything to chance against American challenger Adrien Broner in their welterweight title fight on January 19 in Las Vegas.
Pacquiao, who is defending his WBA belt, isn’t planning on going the distance with his sight set on a decisive victory and an impressive showing in his first fight in the US since 2016.
My @WBABoxing welterweight world title defense against @AdrienBroner is 14 days away. I am training hard for a knockout victory. It is great to be back in the U.S. and fighting at @MGMGrandGarden. @PBC @TGBPromotions @ShowtimeBoxing @SHOSports @AXS #PacquiaoBroner pic.twitter.com/hm2CjDiVJi

The 40-year-old Pacquiao is keen on scoring a KO after coming off a stoppage win over Lucas Matthysse last July.
Pacquiao, boxing’s only eight-division champion, went back to training on Sunday (Manila time) a day after taking a breather. He split eight rounds of sparring against Arnold Gonzalez and George Kambosos Jr. and did four rounds of mitts with Freddie Roach in his afternoon session at Wild Card Gym.
