It’s been a little over two years since Manny Pacquiao last fought in the US, but things have practically remained the same in his return to Los Angeles.

The Filipino boxing superstar still draws large crowds when he trains and he still doesn’t disappoint his fans.

After his morning workout on Sunday (Manila time), Pacquiao gamely posed for photos and signed autographs for his supporters who gathered around the parking area of Pan Pacific Park.

He continued his training in the afternoon with eight rounds of sparring against Arnold Gonzalez and George Kambosos Jr. and four rounds of mitts with Freddie Roach at Wild Card Gym.

Pacquiao (60-7-2, 39 KOs) is defending his WBA welterweight title against Adrien Broner (33-3-1, 24 KOs) on January 19 at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

The 40-year-old Pacquiao is fighting in the US for the first time since his lopsided victory over Jessie Vargas in November 2016.
