If Jinkee Pacquiao will have her way, her husband Manny Pacquiao is only up for one more fight after Adrien Broner until he hangs up his gloves for good.

Pacquiao briefly retired in April 2016 when he fought Timothy Bradley for the third time and then, returned to the ring against Jessie Vargas just seven months later.

“Sometimes we talk about retiring because boxing is a tough job for the both of us,” said Jinkee Pacquiao in an episode on Showtime Sports’ All Access: Pacquiao vs. Broner as posted on boxingscene.com. “If he wins, maybe [this] year one fight and then that’s it. I pray for that.”

Pacquiao turned 40 last month but he is coming off an impressive showing in his previous fight six months ago when he stopped Argentine strongman Lucas Matthysse in the seventh round—his first knockout since 2009—to win the WBA (regular) welterweight title in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The eight-division champion, however, doesn’t appear to be leaning towards walking away at this point especially with a title bout against Broner happening a week from now.

“When that time comes, I will know that,” Pacquiao said. “But right now, I listen to my body, not to my mind. And also, I’m enjoying it. I don’t feel like 40 years old.”
