Record 20 teams joining new PBA D-League season

A PBA D-League record of 20 teams will be participating in the upcoming 2019 season, which tips off on February 14 at Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City.

Bannering the field are collegiate champions Ateneo, San Beda and St. Claire of National Athletic Association of Schools, Colleges and Universities (NAASCU) and Go for Gold-College of St. Benilde, which is coming off a championship run in the 2018 Foundation Cup.


There will be a total of 15 school-based squads competing including Far Eastern University, University of Santo Tomas, National University, Letran and San Sebastian.

Returning for another season are Centro Escolar University, Che’Lu Bar & Grill,Marinerong Pilipino, Batangas-EAC, and AMA Online Education, University of Perpetual Help and Wangs Basketball.
