Petron sweeps PLDT
Imports Katherine Bell and Stephanie Niemer powered defending champion Petron past PLDT Home Fibr, 25-19, 25-9, 25-10, in the Philippine Superliga Grand Prix on Tuesday at Filoil Flying V Centre in San Juan.
Billed as two of the best imports the country ever saw, Bell and Niemer were unstoppable from start to finish as they towed debuting Petron to the easy win in one hour and 26 minutes.

Mika Reyes was also instrumental with seven points while Aiza Maizo-Pontillas and Remy Palma added six points apiece.
In the second game, Kalei Mau delivered the crucial blows down the stretch to carry United VC to a 12-25, 15-25, 25-17, 25-22, 15-9 win over Sta. Lucia.
