The Philippine Sports Commission is making a bold effort to educate national athletes and coaches about doping.

PSC Chair Butch Ramirez led a doping control officer training course on Tuesday under the auspices of the Philippine National Anti-Doping Organization (Phi-nado) and its project director, Dr. Alejandro Pineda, and Gobinathan Nair, director general of the Southeast Asian Regional Anti-Doping Organization (Searado).

All member countries of the Southeast Asian Games Federation sent participants with 20 doctors, nurses, nutritionists, coaches and sports administrators in attendance.
