Is Rafael dos Anjos willing to fight in ONE Championship? ‘Of course’

TOKYO, Japan—Don’t be surprised if MMA star Rafael dos Anjos takes his talents to ONE Championship in the future.

Dos Anjos, the former lightweight champion and current welterweight contender in the UFC, kept his response short and sweet when asked if he would be fighting inside the ONE cage in the future.

“Of course,” said dos Anjos, who attended the star-studded press conference for ONE: A New Era at the Ritz-Carlton here.

Chatri Sityodtong, the promotion’s founder, chairman and CEO, said dos Anjos showed up at the presser to show his support as a “good friend” of him for a long time now.

Just last year, ONE signed a pair of former UFC champions in Demetrious Johnson and Eddie Alvarez.

Both Johnson and Alvarez are making their much-awaited ONE debuts on Sunday.
