Lady Maroons’ top hitter Isa Molde injures knee

MANILA, Philippines–Isa Molde suffered an injury early in the second set of University of the Philippines’ match against Ateneo Saturday.

League doctors could not say the extent of the injury after she landed badly on her left knee on top of teammate Mirgie Bautista while attempting a spike.

Ateneo, which earlier took first set, was leading, 4-0, when it happened.

Molde, one half of Lhe lady Maroons’ double-barrelled weapon along side Tots Carlos, has scored five points before her injury. She was ruled out of for the rest of the match.
