No stopping Blaze Spikers
Petron completed a sweep of all 14 games of the elimination round after a 25-14, 25-17, 25-19 rout of United VC Saturday night in the Philippine Superliga Grand Prix at Filoil Flying V Centre.
With Kath Bell and Stephanie Niemer blending seamlessly with the already formidable local Blaze Spikers, Petron was hardly threatened in dealing the UVC Spikers a seventh defeat in 13 matches.

Niemer scored 24 points while Bell had 19 in a two-barreled attack UVC did not have an answer to.
They need five more wins to come up with a perfect conference, something they accomplished during the All-Filipino Cup in 2015, that time winning all 13 games.

Foton lost for the 11th time in 12 matches even with Jaja Santiago returning to the fold.
Coming in to replace Becky Perry, Perez unloaded 19 points to complement the 12-point effort of fellow import Lindsay Stalzer.
