STA. ROSA, Laguna—Clyde Mondilla and South Korean teener Kim Joo-hyung fired identical two-under-par 70s on Thursday to remain tied for the lead heading into the final round of the P5-million The Country Club Invitational here.

Mondilla, the reigning Philippine Open champion, needed to drain a 10-foot birdie putt on the 18th to be able to keep in step with Kim, who dropped a shot on the same hole as the duo takes a level 216 aggregate into Friday’s final 18 holes, four shots ahead of Keanu Jahns.

Filipino-German Jahns fired a 71 built around a 32 coming home, while Angelo Que bogeyed three of his last six holes for a 74 to be six behind.
