MANILA, Philippines—University of Santo Tomas’ Babylove Barbon and Gen Eslapor came back from a one-set down to take down Perlas’ Bea Tan and Dij Rodriguez, 17-21, 21-14, 15-12, to claim the women’s title in the BVR On Tour: Dumaguete Open Saturday at Riza Boulevard sand court.

The Golden Tigresses, however, didn’t go climb the throne in the easiest of ways after they squandered three match points before Barbon the title-clinching drop to complete a 5-0 campaign with Eslapor.
