MANILA, Philippines–F2 Logistics demolished Marinerang Pilipina, 25-7, 25-9, 25-19, for a sweep the first round of eliminations in the Philippine Superliga All-Filipino Conference Thursday at Muntinlupa Sports Center.

The Cargo Movers zoomed to their seventh straight win after keeping the newcomers winless in six games.

Filipino-American Kalei Mau, who transferred to the team from the disbanded United VC, paced F2 Logistics with 12 points while Ara Galang added 10 points.

“This is big for us. It’s a huge morale-booster for us as we head to the second round,” said head coach Ramil de Jesus.

“At least we saw the potential of our team whenever we play healthy. It shows we can sweep a series of games.”

Marinerang Pilipina gave up 25 errors while F2 Logistics played almost flawless volleyball with only eight.

Nobody from the Lady Skippers scored in double digits. Chiara Permentilla led with nine points.
