PBA Player of the Week: Jayson Castro doing it all for TNT
MANILA, Philippines–Jayson Castro is back to doing what he does best for TNT.
The veteran guard delivered all-around numbers for the Katropa in their last two blowout wins, earning him the PBA Press Corps Player of the Week citation for July 1-7.

Castro finished with an average of 14 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 7.5 assists in the last two games which TNT won by a margin of 19.5 points.

At 9-1 built on seven straight victories, Castro and the KaTropa are heading into the playoffs armed with a twice-to-beat edge.
Others who earned votes from the PBAPC were Reden Celda of Columbian Dyip and Stanley Pringle of Barangay Ginebra.
TNT closes out the elimination round against Magnolia next Wednesday.
