Red-hot Stags test Pirates; Knights, Generals tangle
Much of San Sebastian’s offense is predicated on how RK Ilagan and Allyn Bulanadi will run the show.
Whether the Stags can keep up with such a well-rounded team like Lyceum while depending mostly on Ilagan and Bulanadi will be known Tuesday when they clash at the resumption of Season 95 of the NCAA men’s basketball tournament at Filoil Flying V Centre in San Juan.
“Both RK and Allyn can score anytime they want, they are the James Harden and Russel Westbrook of my team,” said San Sebastian coach Egay Macaraya.

“My only request is for them to share the ball and get their teammates involved,” added Macaraya.
That’s exactly what Ilagan and Bulanadi did when the Stags demolished the Mapua Cardinals for a taintless 2-0 record a week ago.

“We’re improving as a team every game. Everybody touches the ball, and they know who to find when we need to score,” said Macaraya.
The Pirates (2-1), who also dealt the Cardinals a big blow, have the tools to counter the Stags with wonder twins Jaycee and Jayvee Marcelino and Jeffrey Santos efficiently filling the void while Mike Nzeusseu’s health is still suspect.
Letran will likewise shoot for another win in the other game as the Knights (3-1) face Emilio Aguinaldo College at 12 noon.
After breaking into the win column, Jose Rizal shoots for another when it battles winless Arellano at 4 p.m.
