MANILA, Philippines—Manny Pacquiao took another swipe at Floyd Mayweather Jr. after a video of the former pound-for-pound king talking about a potential rematch surfaced.
In the video making rounds on social media, Mayweather spoke about heading to Saudi Arabia to discuss a potential rematch with involved parties.
“It’s an honor to come to Saudi Arabia to sit down with you guys to talk about the Mayweather-Pacquiao rematch. Saudi Arabia, Floyd ‘Money’ Mayweather, I’m on my way,” Mayweather said in the video.

Pacquiao blasted Mayweather, saying that the American boxing legend, who is currently retired, is using his name again for publicity.
“Looks like @FloydMayweather is using my name again to get himself some attention. #FunnyMoney,” Pacquiao posted on Instagram Monday night.
Mayweather, though, in an interview with FightHype.com’s Ben Thompson, claimed that the video was “false” and was taken “nine months ago.”

The undefeated Mayweather also dismissed rumors surrounding a sequel to their first fight four years ago.
“Basically, that’s an old video. At the end of the day, there’s no talks about me and Manny Pacquiao fighting a rematch. Even if we did fight, all they’re going to do is have an excuse, just like the first time,” said Mayweather, who beat Pacquiao by unanimous decision.
“The first time, you know, he can raise his hand after the fight is over, then all of a sudden, his shoulder is messed up. Excuse after excuse, you know what I’m saying. A real champion, you know, he takes his wins like a man and he takes his losses like a man. But as far as me and Manny Pacquiao, as of right now, it will never be a rematch.”
