PSL: Petron sweeps F2 Logistics to kick off campaign

MANILA, Philippines–Petron needed just three sets to turn back defending champion F2 Logistics, 25-22, 25-23, 25-18, Saturday night and jumpstart its bid in the Philippine Superliga Invitationals at Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig.

The Blaze Spikers pounced on the lackluster performance of the Cargo Movers, who played without main gunner Kalei Mau who sat it out due to skin allergy.

Petron also avenged its loss to F2 Logistics during the final of the All Filipino Conference.

Sisi Rondina topscored with 17 points and Aiza Pontillas produced 14 for the Blaze Spikers who missed top middle blocker Mika Reyes due to a knee injury.
