ANTIPOLO — Blackwater notched its first victory at the expense NorthPort, 107-98, in the 2019 PBA Governors’ Cup Saturday at Ynares Center here.

Rookie Bobby Ray Parks Jr. scored 21 while import Marqus Blakely delivered an all-around performance of 13 points, 14 boards, seven assists and eight blocks for the Elite, who dropped their first two games this conference.

Blackwater had three more players tallying at least 14 points in a balanced scoring effort.

Batang Pier reinforcement Mychal Ammons accounted for 29 points and 17 rebounds while freshman Robert Bolick tossed in a near triple-double of 14 points, nine rebounds, and eight assists but not enough as they fell to 1-3.

Blackwater tries to sustain its winning form against the Columbian Dyip Friday next week at MOA Arena in Pasay.

NorthPort looks to arrest its three-game slide against conference pacesetter TNT on Wednesday at Cuneta Astrodome also in Pasay.
