MANILA, Philippines–TNT streaked to its fifth straight win in the PBA Governors’ Cup on Wednesday night, and will have Troy Rosario to thank.

The KaTropa rallied from nine points down halfway through the fourth period before pulling out a 103-100 decision of NorthPort after Rosario scored 17 of his points in the period at Smart Araneta Coliseum in Cubao.


Rosario hit the final five TNT points, counting the triple from deep right corner that beat the 24-second shotclock for 101-100 heading into the final 66 seconds.

The loss was the fourth straight for the Batang Pier, who had their own hero in Garvo Lanete.


Lanete finished with 23 points for NorthPort, which dropped to 1-4.
