PBA: RR Garcia nails winner to lift Phoenix past Rain or Shine

MANILA, Philippines–RR Garcia hit the decisive basket at the buzzer as Phoenix nipped Rain or Shine, 86-84, Wednesday night in the PBA Gtovernors’ Cup at Cuneta Astrodome.

Garcia hit the basket off a pass from import Eugene Phelps as the Fuel Masters collected their second win in four games.

The Painters dropped to 1-4.

Garcia’s heroics came after he had nearly turned goat, missing two free throws that led to the game-tying basket by JV Mocon.
