Spider Man intruder joins Arwind Santos, other players at PBA outreach

MANILA, Philippines—The incident involving the court intruder wearing a Spider-Man costume during the 2019 PBA Philippine Cup Finals is water under the bridge now.

Paolo Felizarte, who caused a scene after running inside the court during Game 5 between San Miguel Beer and Magnolia, joined the PBA’s real Spider-Man in Arwind Santos of the Beermen during the latest PBA Homecourt, which is part of the league’s community service program, on Tuesday.

Santos, a former MVP, NLEX big man Raoul Soyud and PBA Commissioner Willie Marcial led the PBA’s visit to Barangay Holy Spirit in Commonwealth, Quezon City where they assisted a lucky fan named Orlando Porio a wheelchair.

Porio was sitting on a broken-down wheelchair when he caught Marcial’s attention.

“We saw him, talked to him and told him that we’re going to send him a new wheelchair,” said Marcial in Filipino in a story on the PBA website.

The 31-year-old Porio, an avid NLEX fan, also had his photo taken with Soyud.
