Kai Sotto has been turning heads since going to the US to continue his basketball career.

The Filipino prodigy on Tuesday reportedly drew interest from University of Georgia, which is considered among the top schools in the US.

According to Verbal Commits, Sotto has received an offer from the Georgia Bulldogs, who compete in the US NCAA Division 1.

At 7-foot-2 and only 17 years old with a wide skill set, it’s no surprise that Sotto is making his presence felt in the US basketball scene as a promising talent.

Sotto, who plays for the Atlanta-based The Skill Factory, was recently named MVP in the King Invitational tournament after leading his team to a championship.

Sotto is a four-star recruit ranked 68th in the ESPN’s list of the Top 100 high school players in the class of 2020.

NBA legend Dominique Wilkins and Los Angeles Lakers guard Kentavious Caldwell-Pope played for the Georgia Bulldogs in college.

Other renowned schools in the US such as University of Kentucky, Auburn University and University of South Carolina had also shown interest in Sotto.
