PBA D-LEAGUE: Junior Powerade downs Blackwater, 84-79

MANILA, Philippines – Mikee Reyes caught fire late as Junior Powerade downed Blackwater, 84-79, Tuesday in the PBA D-League Foundation Cup at the San Juan Arena.

Reyes, the UP Fighting Maroons playmaker, unloaded 13 of his team-high 18 points to lead the scrappy Tigers to 1-0 start.

The Elite reeled to their first setback in two stints despite a double-double from big man Kelly Nabong.

Nabong had 17 points and 14 rebounds.
