Terrence donates to front-liners

San Miguel guard Terrence Romeo will continue his donation drive to medical front-liners battling COVID-19, with three more hospitals becoming recipients of his generosity in the next few days.

A source said that Romeo will donate to Far Eastern University-Nicanor Reyes Medical Foundation, Valenzuela Citicare Medical and St. Mattheus Medical Hospital in Rizal.

Romeo, so far, has donated 12,000 pairs of surgical gloves, 12,000 surgical face masks, 5,000 rolls of tissue paper and 1,000 bottles of alcohol.

Romeo, the source said, has already donated to various hospitals since the start of the enhanced community quarantine in Luzon the past week and that he only intended to donate to five institutions.

“The original plan was just five hospitals but there were people who sent out messages to him so he decided to donate to more institutions,” the source said in Filipino.

The source said that it was Romeo and his wife’s initiative to donate to hospitals and help the front-liners.

Maxinne Dompor M.D. on Saturday tweeted Romeo’s donation to Veterans Memorial Medical Center. INQ
