MANILA, Philippines — Olympic silver medalist Hidilyn Diaz is giving the country a lift in its fight against the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic.

The Filipino weightlifting queen has set up a donation drive through an online weightlifting seminar on Sunday at 9 a.m that aims to not only educate those interested in the sport but more importantly, to provide the Philippines’ coronavirus relief efforts a needed boost.

“I will be conducting an online weightlifting seminar via zoom. I’m doing this to do my part as a Filipino and to share my passion, experiences, and knowledge in weightlifting,” Diaz posted on her Instagram.
