MANILA, Philippines — There have already been plenty of stories—most of which the stuff made of legends—told about Michael Jordan.
But the stories keep coming and this time, it’s Jordan’s former longtime agent David Falk who took a trip down memory lane.
In a recent interview with Boomer and Gio on New York sports radio station WFAN, Falk said the basketball icon once declined to make a two-hour appearance despite being offered $100 million for it.
“I brought him a deal three years ago for $100 million. All he had to do was, other than giving his name and likeness, make a one two-hour appearance to announce the deal and he turned it down,” Falk said.
“God bless him. He’s been so successful, it gives him an opportunity to do whatever the hell he wants or not to do things he doesn’t want. I really admire that. He’s very, very selective in the things he wants o be involved in.”
The 57-year-old Jordan’s net worth is estimated to be $2.1 billion, as per Forbes.
Jordan, widely-recognized as the greatest player of all time, led the Chicago Bulls to six NBA championships.
